Yes, yes, yes....I know this blog was supposed to deal with Cold War History and Pop Culture, but current events have kept me from writing such entries as THE SPY WHO LOVE ME - A RETROSPECTIVE

One of the more significant current events that have occure between the United States and Russia has been th controversy about the United States plans for a missile defense shield in eastern Europe. This has led to a high profile meeting between Putin and Bush in Maine. Alas, it is not high profile enough to warrant a song about Putin's visit ala "I Saw Krushchev in a Pink Cadillac," but it is an interesting meeting none the less. Will it be productive? Hopefully.
