In what could prove to be a somewhat contentious statement Hillary Clinton took a shot
at Putin stating that he doesn't have a soul. This was a backhanded slap at President Bush and an appeal to Blue Dog Democrats. It was also somewhat foolish as this will surely not go over well in Russia as such statement are along the lines of defining an enemy.

Granted, it is obvious that China and Russia both have the potential to be future enemies of America and Western Europe but it hasn't come to that level yet. Remember, the old maxim is never to declare an enemy until you are ready to deal with them and there is really nothing to deal with at this point in time. But, the arming of enemies of the US and Europe will hardly improve relations any time soon.
