Granted, this was long before the Cold War actually started but it is rare footage of the two during what could be called the ascending period of the Soviet State. At one time, footage like this was incredibly rare as it was not widely circulated outside of USSR territory. With the collapse of the Soviet Union much archival footage has been released and it provides a rare glimpse into a society that was radically different from what existed in the United States at the time.
