NATO Agrees to Preemptive Nuclear Strike Options
It would seem that Russia's actions have rattled the folks in NATO to the point where the old Cold War concept of preemptive nuclear strikes. Granted, the (utterly awful) Guardian article points to radical Islamic fundamentalism being the main area of concern - and surely it is a concern - it would be ludicrous not to assume Russia's recent posturing (and irresponsible behavior) would seem to move Western Europe and Russia into a modern day version of MAD - Mutually Assured Destruction.
