If there was anything a communist regime can rely upon it is the useless dupes who empower a totalitarian state and do so in an oblivious manner. Oblivious to history that is - a history of totalitarian states almost immediately discarded those who led them to power.

In the Ukraine we have "youth groups" condemning US foreign policy and asserting their allegiance to Russian leadership. Look, if they want to protest US foreign policy and their government's association with it...hey, go for it. It is cheaper and more productive than playing wii. (It's not as fun though) But, please, do these useful idiot buffoons realize that the Ukraine struggled for years to be independent of Russia when it was absorbed against its will into the USSR? Do they not remember the iron grip of communism? Is this what these youth groups want to affiliate with?

In this world you pretty much get the government you want if you push hard enough but the type of rule the Ukraine (well, some in the Ukraine) wish for will turn out to explode in their face quicker than they can imagine. History has shown us so much.....but what will the future show the Ukraine?
